Soft Constructions are a series of exploratory sculptures that address the notion of tactility and the relationship between skin, body and structure in sculptural work. These sculptures are generated from a haptic impetus with a direct translation from the idea of a 'cast', or to 'hold form'. The resultant works are generated from 'holding' and is intended to elicit the desire to touch as well.
